About
My work
I am passionate about being a present and supportive guide
for others as they find their own path.
This stems from a lifelong journey of health, wellbeing and personal growth.
I have a deep connection to food and healthy eating and bring this practice forward for my clients to keep their physical bodies healthy.
I LOVE coaching people toward experiencing more! MORE of life in whatever way that looks for them. For some people that is learning to feel and express more in a yoga pose. For others that is feeling their emotions and connecting to them as fuel and guidance vs. fear and suppression. It could be exploring a new adventure or even learning how to receive information from the etheric realm to express their divine purpose.
When we rise up and meet ourselves where we are emotionally, physically, and mentally, we can then return to the breath + present moment to discover what is true and unchanging.
My work with clients constantly brings them back to their center so they can experience their own energy.
Whether through breathwork, biofield tuning or therapeutic yoga - the practice is to let go of the chatter, doubt and worry.
Often we must LOOK, HEAR and SEE the clutter, doubt and worry in order to acknowledge it, understand the lesson of it, and allow space to feel sensation and emotion.
How I got here
When I was younger my parents got divorced
and I took to eating to help myself deal with the emotions which arose.
I put on weight and knew I wanted to change my habits which led me to reanalyze my diet and lifestyle. I was so lucky to have been empowered by my family to further develop healthy eating patterns and habits and this influenced the choices I have made in my education and professional career to be healthier in every way.
This is how I learned to experience more of life.
I began my yoga practice while studying at Bryn Mawr College. My practice supported me when I moved to New York and London, where yoga kept me grounded after long days working at Goldman Sachs. After that, I took my practice with me to U.C. Berkeley where I earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business, and subsequently helped to start a variety of socially-conscious companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.
When I moved back to Houston,
I found people were in need of tools like the ones I had learned
to live more balanced and healthy lives.
With my training and experience in breathwork facilitation, biofield tuning, Jivamukti yoga, Reiki, crystal bowls and more, I had a solid understanding of how complementary tools in the healing arts can facilitate profound and lasting transformations.
To create a space for these modalities, I founded Bayou Bliss Yoga.
This studio is an intimate center known for its small group yoga classes and its impactful workshops and trainings on meditation, energy work, yoga and personal development.
I have been teaching yoga classes for over 15 years and am a certified yoga therapist. My goal is to teach yoga as a way to understand the Language of the Body so you can translate the information it is giving you.
My previous corporate career
gives me a unique perspective on the challenges we face,
and how elusive a sense of wholeness + harmony can be.
In late 2019, I found my business was shifting towards more private clients and corporate coaching and chose to focus my attention on online courses and expanding my personalized offerings.
Today, my private practice is largely dedicated to working directly with C-Suite clients and small, high-performing teams to help them access their authentic voice and leadership style. My clients are company founders, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
I know harmony within ourselves gives us the capacity to create a more harmonious life. I am particularly dedicated to helping women lead authentically, from their intuition and the divine feminine. I invite everyone to find a deeper connection to their higher selves so that you may fully express who YOU are—and what you are meant to do.
